ETP and Electrified Motors partnership delivering integrated electrification solutions for Nordic OEMs

Integrated Electrification Solutions for Nordic OEMs

As electrification accelerates, OEMs are under increasing pressure to deliver cleaner, more efficient machinery without compromising performance or reliability. Integrated electrification solutions for OEMs are therefore becoming increasingly important. In the Nordic market, this shift is being driven by growing demand for zero-emission operations in sectors such as construction, agriculture and marine.

Meeting these requirements requires more than high-performance components, it demands fully integrated systems that work seamlessly together.

Electrified Motors and ETP have partnered to address this challenge. By combining advanced PMAC motor technology with deep system integration expertise, the collaboration enables OEMs to adopt electrification with reduced complexity, lower risk and faster time-to-market.

Christer Sigurd, CEO of ETP, explains: “Our collaboration with Electrified Motors strengthens our position in the Nordic market. By bringing together their high-performance PMAC motor platform and our integration expertise, we’re able to deliver compact and efficient solutions for demanding off-highway and marine applications.”

Jim Winchester, Managing Director of Electrified Motors, adds: “By partnering with ETP, we can offer OEMs ready-to-deploy systems that simplify the transition to electric. The result is a more streamlined development process, faster deployment and ultimately better performance in real-world operation.”

Built for Demanding Applications and Environments

The combined solution is designed for sectors where performance and durability are critical:

  • Off-highway machinery (construction, agriculture, material handling)
  • Marine applications
  • Niche on-highway applications such as last-mile delivery vehicles
  • Urban and indoor equipment requiring low noise and zero emission
  • Proven Performance and Efficiency

Electrified Motors’ PMAC platform delivers strong performance across a wide range of applications:

  • Peak power from 4.5kW to 45kW
  • Peak torque up to 210Nm
  • Maximum speeds of 7000 rpm
  • Compact motor weights from 7kg to 25kg

Crucially, compared to conventional AC induction motors, Electrified Motors’ PMAC technology can deliver up to 12% increased range and a corresponding 12% reduction in operating costs, delivering a measurable commercial advantage for OEMs.

Designed for Integration, Not Just Installation

A key benefit of the partnership is the ability to deliver a complete, ready-to-deploy electrification solution.Rather than sourcing and integrating multiple components, OEMs benefit from:

  • A single, integrated system approach
  • Faster transition from prototype to production
  • Lower overall system complexity

The compact, high power-density design of Electrified’s PMAC motors also enables integration into existing machine architectures, minimising chassis redesign and reducing manufacturing disruption.
In higher-voltage configurations, the system can eliminate the need for additional components such as DC-DC converters, further simplifying system design and reducing cost.

Engineered for Real-World Conditions

Electrified Motors’ PMAC motors are built for the harshest operating environments:

  • IP69K-rated – the highest level of ingress protection and a unique capability among PMAC motors
  • High torque density in compact, lightweight packages
  • Wide operating voltage range (24 – 144V across platforms)
  • High-speed capability up to 7000 rpm

Advanced engineering approaches, including duty cycle analysis and system-level optimisation, ensure each solution is tailored to real-world operating conditions.

In addition, liquid-cooled variants can increase rated power output by up to 2x, enabling higher performance without increasing system size.

System Integration and Application Expertise

ETP complements this technology with full electrification system capability, including:

  • End-to-end system design and engineering
  • Battery and power electronics integration
  • Testing, validation and lifecycle support

Beyond system design, ETP brings extensive experience from both mobile and marine applications. By integrating motor, motor control and battery systems into a complete solution, ETP helps OEMs simplify development, reduce risk and optimise performance.

Local inventory, technical support and in-house testing and verification capabilities, including a dedicated motor test bench, help shorten development cycles and ensure reliable real-world performance.
This ensures that every component operates as part of a fully optimised system, rather than as standalone hardware.

Conclusion

Together, Electrified Motors and ETP deliver more than individual components, they provide fully integrated electrification solutions.

The partnership enables OEMs to reduce complexity, accelerate development and deliver reliable, high-performance electrification in even the most demanding applications.
